This building dates from 1979, previously it was a fence of roosters belonging to José Luis Pozo Barrios until it was nationalized in 1963, after the revolutionary triumph, with the objective of executing a work that provided public services or activities. From its beginnings to the present time it has worked as a cinema and important national production films have been screened in its hall as they are: Los Dioses Rotos, Habanastation, Conducta and the more recent Ya no es antes.
