The land where this property is located was a barren plot owned by the municipality of Viñales. Later, in 1959, this land was intervened by the Cuban State where, in 1961, was built a basketball field and in 1967 began the construction of the cinema as we see it today. Numerous filmography collects its exhibition hall among these: Lisanka, Viva Cuba, El premio flaco and others. Another show of great popular acceptance that, taking advantage of the polyvalent use of the hall has been presented, has been the National Circus of Cuba on two occasions. It is worth noting as a curious fact that the vineyard land has served as a stage for numerous audiovisuals among them: The Miracles of Water by Ernesto Daranas presented by Cubavisión Internacional and Los días del agua by Manuel Octavio Gómez. This cinema is currently in a state of repair and has a contract from the A lo Grande project for its use.
