MilanésTheater is the oldest theater in  Pinar del Río city. During colonial epoch, it was called Lope de Vega Theater. At the beginning of Cuban independence, in1898, it was called Jose Jacinto Milanes, in honor to Matancero Poet.It is a theater for 900 spectators. It is located in Marti and Colon Streets corner.

This institution was founded as a theater in  1986, it is the essay and shows place of the   "Rumbo" Company, created for small format spectacles, amateur festivals call for different students'  organizations, such as Federación de Estudiantes de la Enseñanza Media (FEEM) and Organización de Pioneros José Martí (OPJM).
